Amanda comes from a diverse upbringing. Born and raised in Central Florida, Amanda grew up embracing many hobbies such as photography, theatre, dance, and shopping at Express. Her husband says it is a problem. We would agree. She graduated Santa Fe Community College with an AA in Journalism, before taking on the big dogs at University of Florida, where she skated out of there with a Bachelors in Telecommunications-Production. She began her career at WCJB, an ABC affiliate in Gainesville, where she was a video editor by day, and a frog collector by night. She would eventually move up to TV Director, where she wore many hats and redefined the term multi-task. She has worked on shows such as Disney Channel Games, Nickelodeon's GUTS, and American Idol. When she is not working, she is fighting to secure Anchorman a top spot among all-time best comedies; she has even named her dog Baxter.
